appears biannually (December and June) and only publishes original, innovative material of distinguished scientific and artistic interest. Contributions can be made in Spanish or in English, and must be sent in CD format and by email to the journal’s editorial board. Materials received will be submitted to the Assitant Editors for peer evaluation, under supervision of the Editorial Board. The opinions expressed by these parties are then transmitted to the Managing Editors and to the General Editor. The latter lets the author, who remains anonymous, know of the result. This is either a recommendation for acceptance after revisions are made, or for rejection. It can be noted that two thirds of the evaluators do not belong to the institution editing the journal. This guarantees a maximum of objectivity and openness in the selection processes of articles to be published.
Articles must be sent in Word and must always agree with the following editorial regulations:
As a general criterion, articles will have a maximum length of fifteen typed pages, including quotations, bibliography and images. Reviews must not exceed three pages. Before the beginning of the article, the name and surname of the author should be indicated, as well as his or her institutional affiliation. There should also be a summary of the article, both in Spanish and in English, of no more than ten lines. On a separate line there should be a list of keywords (four to six, in Spanish and English), identifying the content of the article.
The regulations for publication will adjust to MLA format, which, briefly outlined, are as follows: :
If in your text you have just mentioned the title of the work or the article from which the quotation has been taken, then only indicate the page number in brackets: (265); if the title is not mentioned, then indicate the name of the author only in the references, where said author is mentioned only once: (Ortega 374); if such is not the case, then mention the author, the title and the page number, with no punctuation marks between the title and the page number (Piglia, El último lector 27); if the title is too long, you may use its abbreviated form (Alberti, Yo era un tonto 77) [instead of Yo era un tonto y lo que he visto me ha hecho dos tontos 77] br>If the quotation is taken from a periodical or journal, indicate the volume number, the issue number, the year of publication and the page number: Revista de Crítica Literaria Latinoamericana 24 (Spring 1992): 227-332.
The Editorial Office will confirm receipt of submissions and will inform authors of evaluation results in no more than 60 days. If the article is accepted, the publication will always indicate the dates of reception and acceptance.
